Powerhouse founder and CEO Jenny Benbrook recently had the opportunity to meet with Rilla CEO Sebastian Jimenez in New York City to talk about the REAL reason contractors struggle with new technology, and how to fix it.
The New Wave of Technology in the Trades
As a new wave of technology enters the trades, including Powerhouse Certified Partner Rilla, Powerhouse Consulting Group is working to help contractors choose the best options for their business. Benbrook says she believes we’re on the precipice of another really great change in the industry.

Common Pitfalls: Losing Control Over Software

“What happens over time is a contractor almost loses control of how well they’re using their software,” says Benbrook.

Jimenez notes that one of the biggest hesitations contractors have is fear of the implementation process. Benbrook attributes focus, and fear of the unknown to the hesitation. The benefit of technology implementation is often recognized, but the challenge lies in how to reach that benefit.
